FlowEra was built by engineers tired of slow, connectivity-dependent task trackers. We believe project management should be instant, flexible, and out of your way — so we built an offline-first platform that works under any conditions.
Why Offline-First
Most task managers are server-centric: every action is a network request. Move a card — wait. Update a status — wait. This pattern breaks flow state. FlowEra works differently: your data lives locally on your device, and sync happens in the background. Every interaction responds in under 50ms regardless of connection quality. Whether you're on a plane, in a spotty-wifi office, or fully offline — work continues without interruption.

The Technology
FlowEra is built on PowerSync: a bidirectional sync engine that keeps a SQLite database on each client in sync with PostgreSQL on the server. Writes go to local storage first, then sync via a write-back protocol. Conflicts are resolved automatically at the protocol level. The result is the instant responsiveness of a native app with the collaboration capabilities of a cloud platform.
